Infants and Toddlers Six weeks to 24 months

The earliest years.

One-on-one care, secure attachment, language exposure, and the gentle rhythms that the youngest children need to feel safe and explore.

Infants at Page Junior Academy receive one-on-one care from caregivers trained in early development. The day is built around feeding, sleep, gentle play, and the kind of constant verbal and physical attention that babies need.

Toddlers move into a small group setting with daily routines, language-rich activities, and beginning social play. Movement, music, and outdoor time are part of every day. Children begin to recognize the rhythm of a school day in a setting that is still warm and small.

Preschool and Junior Kinder Two to five years

Building toward kindergarten.

Themed curriculum, pre-literacy and pre-math, and the academic and social habits that prepare a child for the elementary years.

Preschool at Page Junior Academy moves children into themed work: world cultures, agriculture, culinary, and STEM. The activities are hands-on and age-appropriate, designed to introduce children to ideas, places, and practices they would not otherwise encounter at home.

Junior Kindergarten is the year before kindergarten, and the curriculum reflects it. Phonics, early math, group instruction, and the social habits of a school setting all come into focus. By the end of junior kindergarten, children are ready for the academic and social demands of elementary school at Page Academy.
